I have tried to be accurate and complete, but I am sure that I haven't reached perfection yet. Feel
free to notify me of corrections. The films are readily available from Family History Centers. I have included film and page
numbers. Unfortunately, I do not have time to do lookups in the actual records. However, I can help more if you find a match
in the "Marriage Records by Elder Hugh Reid"

She has information that her Grandfather, Rev. Ellis D Snelgrove, collected
while working in Erin
roughly from 1956-1966. The web site includes
photos, indexes to funerals and other information of her grandfather's.
From the "History of Wellington County" :
Erin Township: Name of Erin Township is
said to have been so named by
the surveyors, because it was surveyed immediately after the Townships
of Albion and Caledon.
Albion suggested England, Caledon suggested
Scotland, and it was thought fitting that the third should suggest
Ireland;
so they called it Erin, the poetic name for Ireland.....
